The Alabama Virtual Library (AVL)
The AVL is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. The AVL is available to all students, teachers and citizens of the State of Alabama and is an equitable core of information sources including peer-review and scholarly articles and journals.
Blue Letter Bible
An on-line Biblical and Theological reference source that also offers Dictionaries, Commentaries, Devotionals . Many resources are also available in audio or video format.
African American Historical Serials Collection
The African American Historical Serials Collection is an archive of periodicals that document the history of African American religious life and culture between 1829 and 1922. It includes newspapers and magazines, plus reports and annuals from African American religious organizations, including churches and social service agencies.
Religion and Philosophy Collection
Religion & Philosophy Collection is an essential full-text database for theology and philosophy research. It includes hundreds of full-text journals and magazines covering many religious and philosophical topics, including world religions, religious history, political philosophy and philosophy of language.
Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.
Open Access Digital Theological Library
The mission of Open Access Digital Theological Library (OADTL) is to curate high-quality content in religious studies and related disciplines from publisher websites, institutional repositories, scholarly societies, archives, and stable public domain collections. The OADTL uses the world’s most advanced integrated library system (ILS) for cataloging and discovery. This system, OCLC’s WorldShare, makes content easily discoverable and retrievable. The OADTL is staffed by professional librarians and curates content without regard for theological or confessional perspective. It is hoped that the increased access to high-quality religious studies content will serve scholars and students of religion.

An on-line collections of research and study tools including: Commentaries, Word Studies, Devotionals, Sermons, Bible Maps, Articles, Books and Illustrations. Many resources are available in audio or video formats.
